Bloomsdale Spinach Planting Instructions
Bloomsdale Spinach grows best in full sun, planted 1/2 inch deep and about 1″ apart. Sow the seeds as soon as the soil becomes workable in the spring. Space plants in rows 12 to 18″ apart.
Thin to 2 to 6″ between plants. If starting plants indoors, transplant outside 3 to 6 weeks before the last frost. Spinach requires constant moisture to ensure successful germination and prevent bolting.

Bloomsdale Spinach Harvesting Instructions
Once the leaves have reached an edible size, the spinach can be harvested. Harvest leaves before they turn yellow.
Use a knife to cut below the crown before picking. Spinach can be enjoyed fresh or frozen for later use.
